i wore a laid-back summer dress today - they are my favorite clothing item to wear during summer/ summer dresses embrace the heat while still making their model look cute/ i paired the colorful dress with a denim jacket to dress down the look

Classy Lady

polka dots are my favorite pattern to wear, but they can be difficult to pull off/ the key is to purchase polka dot print in structured clothing, in order to keep from making your figure appear larger/ i paired the skirt with a ruffled shirt in order to obtain a classy appearance/ the neck scarf aids to complete the classy style and pull together the brown with cream/ i took a photo of my bun to show how the popular runway oversized bun look can be achieved/ to create this hairstyle on yourself - pull your hair into a low ponytail, take a long sock & cut off the toe end, roll the end into itself until you have a donut looking hair tie, thread your hair through the donut & begin rolling your hair around the donut (making sure to conceal the sock)/ for more information on how to do this hairstyle - you can watch a youtube video on how to do an oversized bun with a sock/ i wore this look to church this morning, b/c this is a little more dressed up than everyday wear/

being a girl is tough - between the mascara stabs to the eye in fits of hurry to the heartbreaks from jerky little boys, we deserve a little tlc/ this list includes the five items that help keep me cool/collected/& calm ~ even if i'm peddling like a duck underneath

 the book teaches how to plan events, what to wear, and how to act like a classy lady. the advice from derek will transform you into a classy lady, which is found few and far.

2. Staple dress that can be worn to most events. (this is the little black dress)

i prefer to not wear black - why blend in when you can stand out? plus i'm more of a browns girl. my staple dress is a neutral toned dress that looks amazing with pops of color and tanned skin

3. One person you can divulge your deepest darkest thoughts to

never underestimate the power of friendship. a true friend is hard to come by, so when you find him/her latch on like a little puppy. they can save you a lot of money, that otherwise would be spent on a therapist.

4. A pair of shoes that can be worn with anything (preferably keep them in your car trunk)

being stranded without a shoe change is not a pretty sight. preparation produces positive results-always be prepared. i have a tan pair of canvas flats (go figure).

5. Confidence

with confidence you can rock your pink piggy pj pants...well maybe not those... (i'm writing this after seeing Mr. Popper's Penguins-excuse the overuse of p's). confidence is the most important attribute that a woman can have. You are Beautiful - own it!

cheers to a successful day - i completed a much needed shopping trip/ i purchased jcrew capris and matching shirt, AE checkered orange shirt, a urban outfitters shirt, and some jewelry/ my current trend obsession is bright colored capris-i'm dying for a peach pair of pants to go with my aqua jcrew tank/ now is the perfect time to begin planning your fall wardrobe and begin shopping the sale racks for key items/ my fall look inspiration is from spencer on pretty little liars, so i will be hitting up shops like jcrew & anthropologie/ when going shopping it is important to wear an outfit that makes you feel good about your body and easily can be taken off for trying on those final sale items/ everyone is specially & uniquely made so be happy with your shape/size ~ happy shopping!
